What Are Facial-Line Treatment Injections?

There are 3 treatment types of prescription only Botulinum Toxin (BTA):
  • Botox made by Allergan
  • Azzalure made by Galderma
  • Bocouture made by Merz
Over time, the use of our facial muscles to form expressions can result in fine lines, wrinkles and a bulking up of some muscles. To combat this, we use one of the three types of BTA on various areas of the face and neck.

Administered with a fine needle, the anti-wrinkle injection treatment blocks the chemical messages from the brain, relaxing the dynamic movement and softening these signs of ageing.

What are the Benefits of Facial Line Treatment Injections?

Facial Line Treatment injections are a quick and relatively pain-free treatment. You can treat several areas at the same time. This procedure can be administered to treat the following areas:

What happens after the treatment?

Over the first few days following the treatment, gradual improvements can be seen, you will see optimum results at around 14 days. The effects usually last between 3 and 4 months, but can be significantly longer. A small vial can do up to 3 areas resulting in a natural looking result, if there are more areas to treat or a more significant result is required, then a larger vial is advised.

Facial Line Treatment injections should only be prescribed by a medically qualified practitioner, as is the case at Deep Blue, as your safety is our number one priority. During the consultation, we will complete a facial assessment, with both relaxed and animated facial expressions, and discuss possible results. We will ask about your medical history, advise you of any contraindications or precautions, possible side effects and what this prescription medicine is licensed for.

We also include a two-week follow up appointment after the treatment to check results and adjust if necessary.
