We are looking to provide volume and shape to the lips and / or the surrounding areas that may be showing deep lines and wrinkles. The treatment provides a more youthful appearance as we lose volume over time in our lips.  At Epione Aesthetics the products are world leading, fully tested products. The filler contains hyaluronic acid, a product found naturally in the human body. JUVÉDERM^® Volite is an ideal injectable gel for injection in the lip area to boost volume and shape to your specified desire and required look. 

When administering lip filler I use a canula to more comfortably deliver the injection to the correct area – so don’t worry about sensitivity. 

Lip fillers are the number one treatment for introducing volume, enhancing shape, redefining the outline of the lip and enhancing lip definition. As a nurse I will work with you to enhance your lips, creating a natural looking lift to a plump and glamorous enhancement, every result is natural and elegant.

One of the main advantages of lip fillers is a youthful, rejuvenated and defined appearance. This treatment addresses a range of concerns that can emerge as we age and patients often express their desires that range from looking less sad around the mouth area, to getting rid of those ‘smokers’ lines or simply wanting plumper lips.

Results are immediate and can last between 3 – 6 months (very fine filler) to 9 - 12 months (stronger filler). The filler we use is made of hyaluronic acid, a natural component found in the skin and lip but the specific lip filler product we will recommend depends on your personal requirements. In some cases, multiple treatments are needed to achieve the desired result and this can then be maintained over time. To minimise pain and bruising, a local anaesthetic cream is used and the filler is applied via a fine needle or cannula.

To obtain the most natural and subtle results, we capture images of our patients (both still and animated) encouraging you to exaggerate the movements you make when laughing, kissing or expressing an unhappy emotion. If you decide to have only a single treatment, rest assured that it will not damage your skin in any way and the effect will gradually fade away. We only use bio-degradable, non-permanent lip filler.
